"Miss Rosie" Southern Morning Rose CGC is now one of our Dewbury ladies. Born on March 9, 2021, she has passed all her health clearances with flying colors! Miss Rosie boasts good hips, normal elbows, a clear heart (echocardiogram), clear eyes, and is clear on everything genetically except for Ichthyosis, of which she is affected. For that reason, we will only breed her to a clear male in our quest to eliminate this genetic trait from our beautiful Goldens.
Rosie has earned her Canine Good Citizens Award, a requirement for all my dogs. This demonstrates that Dewbury Dogs possess a good mind and are well-connected with their owners, who are committed to working with them.
Rosie got to be one of our Dewbury mammas because her kennel momma came down with health problems severe enough which forced her to retire from breeding. We have known Rosie since she got born, and we knew how wonderful she is, so it wasn't a hard decision to invite her to become a Dewbury Momma.
Rosie is a fantastic dog! She has worked for years at the LaVerkin Elementary School and at Hurricane Library in Hurricane as a Therapy Dog, and is now continuing her Therapy Dog career at the Forest School in South Jordan where she is a HUGE hit as well. Rosie loves all humans, but in particularly children, and she is even learning to love cats. She definitely takes after her Father, Connor, who is addicted to loving hands at all times!

Rosie is within breed standard, weighing in at 61 lbs., with a lovely coat and an ever pleasant look on her face. At just four years old, she still has plenty of playfulness in her, but also exhibits that wonderful on/off switch that our Dewbury dogs are known for... she knows how to settle down beautifully as well.
Rosie is living with her guardian family up in South Jordan, Utah, where she gets LOTS OF snuggles from the family as well as the Forest School students. She probably thinks she won the snuggle lottery!
Rosie have had 2 litters, and her puppies are EXCEPTIONAL well tempered as well as STUNNING! We anticipate all of Rosie's puppies will grow up to be as amazing as their parents. They will be raised by Britta using the Puppy Culture Method, socialized, desensitized, and trained every day in our home, paving the way for the third generation of well-adjusted Dewbury puppies, ready to become service dogs or therapy animal dog puppies for loving families.
