"Mr. Canto", Rudebeck's I Will Follow Him CGC, is an exceptional imported boy from the little Kingdom of Denmark. I flew over to Denmark to pick Canto up and bring him home to Utah. One of the reasons I import my boys is to diversify the gene pools, which helps avoid inbreeding. It's also crucial for me to fully communicate with the kennel owner in Europe to prevent misunderstandings and miscommunications. 

Canto comes from a prestigious line of European Goldens and honorable kennels, boasting a strong ancestry filled with Champions, such as SE.CH.U DK.CH.U DKJW-17 KBHW-18 Gembaek's Charming Star of Music and CIB CIE FI SE(U) EE LV CH Daily Rays Charming Star JV-10 BALTJV-10 LVJV-11 LVV-12 TLNW-13, among others. Those familiar with Golden Retriever genetics will appreciate the genetic quality behind Canto. 

At two years old, Canto completed his final X-Rays, which confirmed he has Good Hips and Normal Elbows. Additionally, his Eyes and Heart have been evaluated by a Cardiologist and Ophthalmologist, both of which returned clear results. Canto underwent a Genetic Panel and is clear of all conditions except for being a Carrier of Icthyosis. 

Canto earned his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) title on his first birthday, and we are currently pursuing the next level, CGCA (Canine Good Citizen Advanced). These behavioral titles demonstrate that Canto has a sound mind and is indeed a very good boy! 

Canto has been shown under 10 judges in the confirmation ring, first as a 5-month-old puppy and again as a 14-month-old dog. All the judges were impressed by him, noting he is a very promising young boy! Due to my location, I often have to travel a day each way for shows, which limits my ability to show him frequently, as I also need to care for my other fur-babies. 

Despite this, Canto is currently a National, International, and Honors Puppy Champion, as well as a National and International Dog Champion. Canto is a handsome boy with golden hues in his luscious coat, which is exactly what a Golden Retriever's coat should be—wavy and water-repellent. He possesses an extremely handsome and masculine face with deep black pigment. 

Weighing around 78 lbs of sheer muscle and standing approximately 24" tall, Canto has straight legs, beautifully formed paws, deep-set eyes, and correctly shaped ears. If Canto were human, there’s no doubt he would be in the modeling business! 

One of Canto's best traits is his wonderful personality; he is a cuddly boy with a natural desire to please. During our training sessions or hikes, I simply open my car door and say, "Load up Canto," and he excitedly jumps in, ready for our next adventure. Canto is a friend to all humans and animals, including little puppies and babies! 

He has a playful side and never acts as the Alpha; in fact, he seems to be the underdog among my dogs. This doesn’t bother him; he simply enjoys being loved and played with. Recently, I've noticed Canto using his nose more often, so we may enroll him in some nose work classes in the future. 

Canto's genetic contributions can greatly enhance the American gene pool, as his genes are not yet oversaturated in the USA. His puppies are sure to be as sweet and beautiful as he is, with excellent health. Canto is available for mating with fully health-tested bitches that have passing health scores for live cover (he has successfully tied with a bitch twice!). The female must have a brucellosis test done prior to mating and should be well-mannered and friendly. 

Canto is a proven stud, having sired 9 puppies in his first litter. Additionally, he is available for shipping freshly collected semen via FedEx next day delivery directly to the bitch's reproductive vet’s office. He will be collected by a repro vet, and the receiving address must also be a repro vet.
